Stonefall Cemetery

A unique opportunity for a guided visit to this poignant commemorative designed landscape. A Stonefall Cemetery guide took us on a tour of the cemetery covering the history of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, who is commemorated and some casualty stories. The visit included First World War graves and the Services Plot before ending in the large Air Force plot. This is where over 900 air force casualties from the Second World War are buried and where there is lots of horticultural interest.
